Here the artists mix different traditional folk art styles and create something entirely new and contemporary. Art is achieved on a marble plate. A mix of oil painting, natural substances and even original gold are used to achieve color effects. The style is heavily borrowed from miniature paintings where very thin brush strokes were used, so thin that one had to use lenses to see strands of hair. Instead of the fine brush strokes, the artists try to achieve wow effects through embossing techniques. Use of original stones, together with embossing gives a kind of three-dimensional effects. The painting looks contemporary and colorful, true to Rajasthani style.
